King Oyster Mushroom Kit

King Oyster Mushroom

Also know as King Trumpet Mushrooms. Has a thick meaty white stem and small tan cap. These mushrooms have a very good shelf life when harvested. when cooked develops typical mushroom Unami flavours.

Growing Tips

Grown on Organic compost these are the only King Oyster mushrooms you can buy which are truly fresh, Ready Growing and require no activation. Just gentle spray watering. In just a few days you will have an abundant supply of fresh mushrooms.

Cooking Tips

Can be grilled, sautéed, or stewed to be added to soups, stews, sauces, pasta, vegetable dishes, meats, and seafood. If prepared whole, allow a longer cooking time for this meaty mushroom, cook until brown.


White Mushroom Grow Kit

White / Chestnut Ready Growing Kits

Our ready growing kits are fully prepared with baby mushrooms ready to explode into full size mushrooms in a few days. Very low in calories and full of nutrients, the most widely consumed mushroom in the world. With a delicious nutty taste. A lower water content with less shrinkage in cooking.

Growing Tips

Use the plastic bag as protection from drying draughts unless in a protected damp place, but make sure the bag is open. Water gently, usually daily, but it is only the top inch that needs water, not the whole pot! Once picking is finished, water well and keep the top inch damp and you should see another crop within a week or so. Empty out the pot after three weeks, use the compost in the garden. Ideal Temperature 17C

Cooking Tips

Try raw in salads or cooked In risottos and pastas. Stuffed or paired with Garlic on toast. Try replacing half your meat with finely chopped mushroom for a healthier burger.

They are ready growing and all you have to do is keep indoors and spray into each hole Mushrooms will sprout in clumps from all holes, although not always at the same time. Pink Oyster Mushroom Kits

These kits come with lids with three holes . Growing Tips

These kits come in an outer protective wrapper, which needs to be removed soon after delivery. Simply cut and remove the bag entirely, then place the kit into the humditiy bag provided raised high but open at the top, whilst standing on a dish or plate. Spray the log and inside of the bag whist the mushrooms develop and within a few days your shiitake log will be fully covered with fresh mushrooms. Ideal Temperature 17-19°C

Just sprinkle the enclosed bag of compost onto your kit, re hydrate with water and put lid loosely back on. DO NOT RESEAL Check moistness each day and remove lid as soon as the white mycelium starts to show.
