How to Air Fry Mushrooms

Air frying mushrooms is a great way to experiment with different combinations, from using garlic granules to soy sauce or sticking to classic salt and pepper. You’ll get the best results from air frying mushrooms when they are all cut to the same size.

Preheat  your air fryer to 190 degrees and wait for it to reach temperature.

Combine your desired dry spices and seasoning with flour, then mix well. Pour a plant based milk over the dry mix to create a wet batter. take your mushrooms, tear / cut into small pieces then coat these with the batter, then once generously covered dip this into a breadcrumb, such as panko.

Cook the mushrooms in your air fryer for 10 minutes, checking on them regularly. You are looking for a golden brown colour and for the exterior to be nice and crisp.
